Halo is one of the most popular first person shooter games of today. Its roots began as a real-time strategy game for Mac and Windows. If you remember Halo available on Mac, you didn’t imagine it. In 1999, Steve Jobs introduced the original version of Halo at MacExpo.
Another interesting fact, Halo 2 had the most extensive and elaborate marketing campaign for a video game. In 2004, when the trailer was released, members of the gaming community received a jar of honey with a url to ilovebees.com. This url was also on Xbox.com’s site though subtle. If you visited the site, it appeared hacked. The site had a countdown timer and began the very interesting scavenger hunt.
