I haven’t the slightest idea how I never even heard of these guys. This stuff is right up my alley and they’re pretty big, so I don’t know how they flew under my radar for so long. I can’t catch ’em all, folks — I am just one man.
For those who are unfamiliar — as I was until a few days ago — these guys compose some beautiful post-rock in the vein of Explosions in the Sky, Pelican, etc. I was convinced this song actually was Explosions in the Sky until I read the YouTube description.
