I like the direction Alton Brown is heading in with his new YouTube channel. He’s definitely broadening his repertoire and showing us more than just the science behind food. This weeks video features him showing us how to sabre a champagne bottle. Which basically just means lopping the top off with a sword.
He says not to try it at home, but why is he showing us how to do it then? WHY? I say go for it. Just make sure you get it on film so the rest of us can one day view your silly shenanigans over at /r/Whatcouldgowrong.
