Wouldn’t it be cool to see a movie with Spider-Man and Wolverine or The Fantastic Four together? While fans may love it, thanks to movie studio rights it won’t happen for now.
I came across this awesome infographic created by The Geek Twins breaking down which movie studio owns which character rights.
This all came about when Marvel Comics sold off the character movie rights to various studios in 1990s, but they are trying to get them back.
There are some characters they haven’t gotten back yet such as Spider-Man from Sony Pictures and 20th Centruy Fox owning the rights to the Fantastic Four, Wolverine and X-Men.
Check out the visual guide below to see which one Marvel Studios owned and which ones they still haven’t gotten back yet.
