Do you love sleeping? Do you feel you get enough sleep or almost none at all? Many of us would love to get more sleep if we could, or at least better rest without waking up in the middle of the night. The old saying that you need to get eight hours of sleep is a great tip, but not many do for a variety of reasons.
Sadly, age becomes factor in this equation at times. Remember how well rested you felt when you were younger? Not so much anymore, huh? Technology can contribute to disrupting sleep patterns as well, and according to an article by The Guardian, blue light from TV or mobile devices can be doing more harm than good. In this digitally connected world, our routine patterns to wind down such as writing that one last email, reading one more article or watching one more YouTube video could have a negative impact on our health.
In some cases, it could also be because you’re traveling a lot and you may sleep better in your own bed instead crashing at a hotel. Or perhaps your partner’s sleeping habits could be jolting you out of getting the rest you need.
