Many of us listen to music on our smartphones. Whether we are grocery shopping, exercising or doing laundry, we can bring with us a huge library of our music collection wherever we go.
A few years before that, music was stored on CDs which only allowed a limited number of songs. While it was limited it was still portable although a bit clunky. If you didn’t have the CD player that had skip protection and your commute was bumpy, you’d have songs skipping throughout your ride.
Many years before that, music wasn’t so easy to carry, they were considered a luxury and only a few had access to it.
