Whether you’re a coin collector or have a lot of it sitting in a jar, U.S. currency denominations can be quite fascinating. International Precious Metals created an interesting infographic from a survey they conducted. They asked over 30 coin experts what their opinions about some of these rare coins.
The first question asked was if they thought the U.S. penny would be phased out and by when? As for denominations, some of them are no longer in circulation such as the $500 bill or $1,000 bill. Other times a new denomination would be created like the $1 Sacagawea coin. What do the experts think about a new denomination? Check out the infographic below and be sure to visit their survey for more information that explains the infographic.
