This image is shot from an airplane flying over Iran at night.
This is what it looks like to fly over Iran at night. Looking out of the plane window I noticed all these fires burning..
The fires are – I think – natural gas and oil burning in the wild.
And when asked how they took the shot, they replied:
Shot on a Canon 1DXMkII with a 24mm 1.4 lens at a 1 second interval with settings: 0.3s f1.4 iso12800 Graded in Lightroom, stabilised and compiled in after effects. The camera was put on my bag and was leaning against the window. The inside of the plane was pretty dark so almost 0 reflection in the window!
