There’s no denying that this winter has been one of the most bone-chilling, frigid ones in recent memory for us here in NYC and the surrounding areas. Most of us only have to walk in these freezing temperatures, but what about those who need to take to the water? And what happens when and if they get stuck? That’s where the Coast Guard’s icebreaking rescue vessel, the Sturgeon Bay, comes in.
