When I finally received my first smartphone, I was, without a doubt, an app junkie. Crappy, unreliable guitar tuner? Check. Even though I have several pro tuners, as well as recording software with built-in tuning capabilities that are far superior. How to roll a joint app? Check. Even though I don’t even smoke weed. I could go on, but you get the idea. I had a ton of these useless things.
Nowadays, I rarely use anything on my phone besides Reddit Is Fun and some alarm clock app — the name of which escapes me at the moment. No more Draw Something, no more of the The Godfather and certainly no more Foursquare. How useless is that thing? But, hey, they’re making millions and people seem to dig it, so God bless ’em.
All of that rambling now brings me to the point of this video. Even with all the stupid and ridiculous apps we have used over the years, there’s more and more being developed every day. In Alltime10s’ latest installment, they showcase some of the oddest apps that technology has come up with so far. Thanks, technology!
Keep in mind that people, many people in fact, are actually using these apps. They didn’t get on this list because they’re overly obscure.
